IFA 2013: What to expect

IFA, or Internationale Funkausstellung to make it longer, is an annual showcase of several manufacturers of their best products to be. It usually begins after summer in Berlin and this year, IFA 2013 is set to wow the world this coming September 4 and while everyone gets excited, we should know what products are set to be unveiled in this consumer show.

If you think you’ve seen the best of Samsung’s Note line up, think again. Judging on what’s shown in this leak, it’s pretty obvious that it’s not a major jump, at least in terms of design language. But with the internals, it’s definitely a huge upgrade.

Our friendly neighbor, @evleaks, leaked several specs about the Galaxy Note III including an additional 0.2″ to the 2nd Generation Galaxy Note making it a 5.7″ Full HD Super AMOLED display. Running under the hood is the choice of either the Snapdragon 800 processor (for LTE variant) or Samsung Exynos Octa-core chip (for Non-LTE). The phablet is also rumored to launch with Android 4.2.2 or let’s all hope that it comes pre-loaded with the latest 4.3 JB version.

Several weeks ago, LG just announced their newest flagship, the LG G2 which deconstructed the physical buttons placing it at the back of the phone. In their latest promotional video, they teased us with their upcoming tablet, which happens to be an 8.3″ one which is about to feature an astonishing 1920×1200 resolution, that’s a lot of pixels! With this screen size, it will probably be the best of its class competing against Sammy’s Note 8.0. Let’s see whar’s going to happen with this enlarged LG G2 in the coming days.

Different sources showcased this beautiful smartphone-to-be and from the leaked press shots,it really proves it’s beautiful. The Sony Xperia Z1, intially codenames Honami i1, is about to come with promising specs including Snapdragon 800 processor, slimmer and taller design, triluminous display and a 20MP shooter with Sony’s G Lens.

Samsung’s S4 came with it’s younger sibling S4 Mini and so with HTC One’s One Mini. With this trend, Sony is also set to give the Xperia Z1 its sibling, Z1 Mini, which will come in a more compact design.

The One line up is set to have an additional member, the HTC One Max which is the company’s newest phablet to launch. It will come in seriously tough specs including an ultra fast 2.3 GHz Snapdragon 800 SoC, 5.9″ FHD display, 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage expandable via sd card, and a whooping 3200 mAh battery capacity, that’s a lot of juice!

These are just some of the devices that we’re expecting to witness this IFA 2013. It’s either they all come true, come short or come with additional surprises.
